StartSession(Int32) Method

The StartSession() method starts a session of the client type of the session object. The method checks that a license of that type is available and, if so, uses it for the session.

This overload of the method returns the session ID.

Parameters

sessionId
Output. Holds the returned session ID.

Remarks

If successful, this method inserts an entry into Sessn table and generates a unique session_id that is used to track this session in the future. The client must store this session ID for future calls, even if the session is created via a web server.
