The Update() method updates all columns for the specified record in the Std_Oper_Ent_Spec table.

Parameters

sessionId

Required. Holds the session ID and thus the user who is making this method call.

operId

Required. Holds the ID of the standard operation.

stepNo

Required. Holds the number of the step with which the specification is associated. The default is -1, which means the specification is not associated with a step.

entId

Required. Holds the ID of the entity.

verId

Required. Holds the specification version.

specId

Required. Holds the specification ID.

specValue

Required. Holds the specification value.

assocFile

Required. Holds the path and file name of the file associated with the specification.

assocFileType

Required. Holds the file type of the file associated with the specification.

comments

Required. Holds the comments or instructions to the operator regarding the specification.

minValue

Required. Holds the minimum acceptable value for the specification. The default is null, which means that no minimum value is defined.

maxValue

Required. Holds the maximum acceptable value for the specification. The default is null, which means that no maximum value is defined.

accessLevel

Required. Holds the security access level for modifying this specification. The default is null, which means no extra security is defined (null has same meaning as value = 0).

lastEditComment

Required. Holds comments that describes why this record is being updated.

lastEditAt

Required. Holds the date and time assigned the last time this record was added or updated, for optimistic concurrency control. If it is specified, the passed value must match the record's lastEditAt value for the record to be updated.

Output. Holds the new date and time to identify this update of this record.
