Parameters
- woId
- Required. Holds the ID of the work order for which the production target information is being retrieved.
- operId
- Required. Holds the ID of the operation for which the production target information is being retrieved.
- seqNo
- Required. Holds the job sequence number for which the production target information is being retrieved.
This method first retrieves the entity (ID) that is running this job. Next, it calculates the current production rate for this shift based on the total quantity produced so far by this job on this shift. Thus the current production rate would be:
Current Production Rate = Total Quantity Produced by this job on this shift/elapsed time from the start of the shift
Once the current rate of production is calculated, then the projected production for the remaining time in the shift is calculated by the current production rate times the remaining time in the shift:
Projected Production for the remaining time = Current Production Rate * Remaining Time in the shift.
Thus, the total projected production for the whole shift/end of the shift would be:
Total Quantity Produced so far + Projected Production for the remaining time.
For the method to succeed, the following conditions must be true:
- The work order ID or the operation ID does not contain a null or empty value.
- The job sequence number does not contain a negative value.
- The supplied job is currently running on any entity.
- The run-on entity has shift schedules defined.
- There are shifts that are currently running on the run-on entity.
Returns a DataSet that contains a DataRow with the production results for the specified job. If no production information is available for the specified job, then the DataRpow contains 0 in both the columns.
The columns of the returned DataSet are described below.
