Set up MES connections to Work Tasks

The MES Work Tasks Connector Configuration utility allows you to create connections between the MES middleware and Work Tasks repositories. The utility is installed as part of the Work Tasks Connector for MES installation and is started automatically when the Connector installation is completed.

Connections between the MES middleware and Work Tasks repositories are required to:

• Call MES middleware APIs from processes defined in the repositories.

• Provide MES user access to the Work Tasks Enterprise Console.

• Define workflow events based on MES middleware extensibility hooks.

• Trigger workflows for events from the MES middleware.

The MES Work Tasks Connector Configuration utility captures the information required to establish connections between MES Middleware and Work Tasks servers. Once connected to the Work Tasks server, you can provision a Work Tasks repository for the MES middleware. The Repository List grid in the MES Work Tasks Connector Configuration utility displays connections between the MES middleware and the Work Tasks repositories.
