Event miscellaneous properties

Use the Wait for MES event miscellaneous property to specify the values of variables that can be used in the workflow and updated when the MES event occurs. You can set values for one or more variables.

Post event update variable

1. Select the control button to open the Update Variable dialog.

   

2. Hover over the Select link, then select the field that appears.

   An XML variable tree appears.

   

3. Navigate to and select the variable.

   The = operator and the Value field appears.

   

4. Hover over the Enter Value link, then select the field that appears.

5. Enter the value to which the variable will be updated when the MES event occurs.

   To map the value to another variable or a content, or to build an expression, click the icon and then the icon to display these control options.

   

6. If needed, continue selecting other variables and entering their values.

7. To save the entered variable values, select OK.
