Inbound Connection Info Advanced tab settings

The settings on the Inbound Connection Info: Advanced tab allow you to to configure the WCF properties of the MES Connector service.

Available settings include the following:

  • Inbound Connector Host: The default run-time node where MES Connector is deployed.

  • Inbound Connector Port: The port used to connect to MES Connector.

  • Inbound Connector Binding: The binding protocol for the connection: HTTPS or TCP.

    Note: For increased security, it is strongly recommended that HTTPS be used as the binding protocol.

  • Throttling: Max Concurrent Calls: The maximum number of messages that can actively be processed. Each client channel can have one pending message that does not count against this total until the service begins to process it. Increase this value if you want the service to process a larger message load.

  • Throttling: Max Concurrent Sessions: The maximum number of InstanceContext objects in a service that can be executed in a single instance.

  • Throttling: Max Concurrent Instances: The maximum number of sessions that a service can accept at one time.
