New Features and Enhancements

The following new and enhanced functionality is delivered as part of AVEVA Enterprise Licensing 4.1 release.

• Support to acquire an alternate license if the previously acquired license had expired.

• Support to notify users with an error message regarding activation of an expired license in offline mode.

• Updated technology related to licensing, including:

  • gRPC components to the latest version.

  • .Net Core to latest version

  • PCS framework to latest version.

• Shared and third-party components to their latest versions across all licensing components.

• Enhanced License Configurator to run AELicWorkgroup utility in workgroup environments.

• Reduced SDL debt.

• This release includes several bug fixes. For more information, refer to the Resolved Issues of Version 4.1.
