Add and remove a License Server

You can add or remove a License Server from the Server Summary Page of the License Manager. A License Server can be located on the SCADA network as a centralized License Server serving and managing all licenses across the network or the License Server can be the same node running the product software.

Add a License Server

  1. Select Menu and select Servers from the menu. The License Server Summary page appears.

  2. On the Action Bar, select Add Server. The Add Server panel appears.

  3. Enter the License Server information.

    1. Enter the name of the computer on which the License Server is installed.

    2. Enter the name of the License Server as you want it displayed. By default, the computer name and the display name are the same.

    3. Enter an optional description for the License Server, then select Apply. License Manager returns to the Details page and displays the details of the License Server you have just added.

You can start working with the new License Server. You can go back to the License Servers Summary page at any time by selecting the Back Arrow on the Details page.

Remove a License Server

  1. On the License Manager Summary Page, select the tile of the License Server you want to manage. The Details page will open, and will display detailed information about that server.

  2. Select Remove on the Action Bar above the License Server name. After you confirm removal, the License Server Summary Page will display.

  3. Select the License Server you want to view on the Details page.
