Model - Tagname

The Model - Tagname tab is in the left-hand side of WindowMaker along with Windows and Supertags tabs. Select the Model - Tagname tab to view the Model - Tagname pane. It displays all the alarm groups and tags of the InTouch application. You can search for required tags using the Search box.

Open a tag

1. In the Model - Tagname pane, right-click the tag that you want to open.

2. Select Open.

   The tag will be opened in the Tagname Dictionary window.

Add Alarm group

3. In the Model - Tagname pane, select $System or an alarm group under which you want to create the alarm group.

4. Right-click and select Add.

   

   A new alarm group is created.

   You can create Alarm group under $System and also add an alarm group under an existing alarm group.

After adding alarm groups, you can perform Rename and Delete operations on them

Move a tags, UDTs, and alarm group from one group to another

5. In the Model - Tagname pane, select the required tags, UDTs, and alarm group that you want to move.

6. Drag and drop to the respective groups.

   The selected tags, UDTs, and alarm group will be moved to the selected group.

Rename alarm groups

7. In the Model - Tagname pane, right-click the alarm group that you want to rename.

8. Select Rename.

9. Edit the alarm group name.

   The alarm group name is update.

Delete a tag

10. In the Model - Tagname pane, right-click the tag that you want to delete.

    You can select multiple tags.

11. Select Delete.

12. In the confirmation message to delete the tag, select Yes.

    The selected tag gets deleted.
