Add the Web Client icon to the iOS home screen

To add the InTouch Web Client icon to the iOS home screen, first install and trust the certificate on your iOS device.

1. Generate the certificate.

   1. Open Configurator and navigate to System Management Server.

   2. Under This machine is System Management Server option, select Details.

      

   3. In the Certificate window, go to the Details tab.

   4. Select Copy to File.

      

   5. In the Certificate Export Wizard window, select Next.

   6. In the Export File Format window, keep the default option (DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER)) and select Next.

      

   7. In the File to Export window:

      1. Select Browse and choose a save location.

      2. Enter a file name in the File name field.

      3. Select Save.

      

   8. Select Next.

   9. In the Completing the Certificate Export Wizard window, select Finish.

2. Transfer the exported certificate to your iOS device.

3. Install and trust the certificate.

   1. Open the certificate on the iOS device.

   2. Choose the device on which you want to install the profile.

      

   3. After the profile downloads, open Settings.

   4. Select Profile Downloaded.

      

   5. Select the profile under Downloaded Profile and then select Install to install the certificate.

      

   6. After installation, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings.

      

   7. Under Enable Full Trust for Root Certificates, enable trust for the installed certificate.

      

4. Open the InTouch Web Client in any browser and select Share.

   

5. Select Add to Home Screen, and then select Add.

The InTouch Web Client icon now appears on your iOS home screen.
