The AVEVA Web Client differs from the previous versions of InTouch Web Client in several ways.

  • Previously, you could browse and open individual graphics or windows from a tree view and display them separately. In the AVEVA Web Client, this is no longer possible. It will only display the window like how it is displayed in the WindowViewer.

  • Most window properties such as type, location, size, and color are supported in the AVEVA Web Client. However, frame style, size control, and template properties are not supported or applied at runtime.

  • The AVEVA Web Client does not include a dedicated title bar. If you open an application in read-only mode, you must hover over the browser title to check its status. Previously, this was indicated by “[R/O]” in the dedicated title bar.
