Configure InTouch HMI Identity Manager Registration

The Identity Manager Registration tab allows you to register InTouch products with AVEVA Identity Manager authentication service.

Note: If you configure the System Management Server, the Identity Manager will automatically get registered. Anytime the SMS configuration is changed, the Identity Manager is re-registered automatically.

Configure Identity Manager Registration

1. On the left navigation pane, expand AVEVA InTouch HMI, and select Identity Manager Registration.

   

   Note: Client registration of WindowMaker and WindowViewer with AVEVA Identity Manager is required for connected experience mode. When the below requirements are met, the Configure option will be enabled:

   • In the System Management Server of the Configurator, This machine is the System Management Server is selected, or connected to an existing System Management Server. InTouch Client registration is not configurable if No System Management Server configured is selected in the System Management Server.

   • AVEVA Identity Manager service is configured to federate user authentication with CONNECT.

2. Select Configure to register InTouch products with AVEVA Identity Manager authentication service.

   The Configure option will be disabled if InTouch registration is already configured on that node.

   Note: InTouch HMI Identity Manager Registration must be configured and registered for InTouch to function properly. If Identity Manager is not registered, InTouch will not function as intended.
