Find InTouch applications

You can search for existing InTouch applications. Application Manager shows any applications that are found.

An application cannot be opened in WindowMaker if the full path exceeds 114 characters (including the network drive letter, colon, and all backslashes). If an application exceeds the character limit, rename the folders in the path or move the application to a different location.

Find applications

1. On the Tools tab, select Find. The Starting directory for search dialog box appears.

   

2. Select the folder in which you want to search for applications.

3. Select OK.

Note: Launching WindowViewer from the remote node Application Manager using the Find option for InTouch applications on the primary node may cause the InTouch.Scripting.Service and/or InTouchServiceMgr components to log unauthorized access warnings.
To prevent this issue:
-Enable file sharing for the InTouch application on the primary node.
-Grant Read, Write, and Execute permissions to the remote machine for the file sharing.
-Find the InTouch applications in Application Manager using the network path of the file share.
