Recovering output streams

Recovering output streams from deleted views frees up the number of unique output streams available for new views. It is important to understand that removing a view from the My Views page does not immediately change the number of unique output streams counted against your licensing limit. Unique output streams are not immediately recovered when a view is removed or deleted; they are recovered once 7 days have passed since data from the PI tag was last published.

The output stream is automatically recovered by an internal service. The first recovery occurs at the startup of the PI Integrator application, and the service is run once every 24 hours thereafter. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to manually click the Recover All Streams button because eligible streams are automatically recovered once a day.
