This procedure is an overview of all the steps you must complete to set up the publish target, including any steps you must complete before you create and configure the publish target.

Note: As of PI Integrator for Business Analytics 2020 R2 SP2, the PI View target has been deprecated. To migrate any views using the PI View target to a Microsoft SQL Server target as an alternative, see Migrate PI View target to Microsoft SQL Server target.

  1. If you are publishing your PI System data to one of the following targets, follow the instructions in the referenced topic to set up the target. For all other targets, skip to the next step.

  2. Add the publish target to PI Integrator for Business Analytics. See Add a publish target.

  3. Configure the publish target. Refer to the topic for your target.

  4. Grant users access to the publish target. See Grant access to targets.
