About PI Integrators Service Group

When you install the PI Integrator, the PI Integrators Service Group Windows group is created, and the Windows service account, or Virtual accounts, specified to run the PI Integrator Framework service is added to this group. The PI Integrators Service Group assigns the Windows service, or Virtual accounts, the minimum privileges required to run the PI Integrator Framework service. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not add the Windows service account, or Virtual accounts, to the local administrators group on the machine where the PI Integrator is installed.
