Configure Special Days

Special Days are used to identify days where regular scheduling does not apply to the equipment in a plant.

Each special day belongs to a category. To configure a special day, perform the following tasks.

Create a special day category

1. Open Scheduler in the runtime environment.

2. Click the Special Days View tab.

3. In the Categories panel, click the Add button.

4. The Add Category dialog box appears. Enter a unique name for the category and click OK.

   The new entry appears in the list of categories.

   Note: If the Add button is not available, go to the Scheduler page in Graphics Builder and set the IsAddSpecialDaysButtonVisible property value to 1.

5. Open Scheduler in runtime environment and click the Special Days View tab.

6. In the Categories panel, select the category to which you need to add special days. If required, follow the procedure described above to create a new category.

7. In the Scheduler calendar, navigate to the month that includes the days that you need to specify as special days.

8. Double-click on the day (or range of days) that you want to specify as special days.

   The Special Day Configuration dialog box appears.

   

9. Enter a Name, a Start date and End date.

   For example, you could specify the dates from 5/02/2024 to 7/02/2024.

   

   The span of the special days range highlights from 5/02/2024 to 7/02/2024.

   

If the special days are adjacent to each other and share the same name, then they will be grouped together in a single block.
