Prepare your SCADA project for use by AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector by completing these tasks:

Prepare the AVEVA Plant SCADA runtime system.

Select tags from AVEVA Plant SCADA.
You can push data to either AVEVA Insight or AVEVA Historian from the versions of AVEVA Plant SCADA listed below. Steps to select your tags vary, depending on the version of AVEVA Plant SCADA you are using.
To prepare the AVEVA Plant SCADA runtime system

Set "[CtAPI]Remote = 1" in citect.ini file on the computer running the CtAPI Server.

For a remote AVEVA Plant SCADA client, enable the server password for security as shown:
