You can configure alarm and events storage in AVEVA Historian using the Configurator tool.
To launch the Configuration tool

From the Start menu, select AVEVA, and then select Configurator.

Under Alarms & Events Storage, select either High-speed: History blocks... or Traditional: SQL Server....

Click Configure.
