Integrate Plant SCADA with AVEVA Historian

Plant SCADA supports the ability to historize and publish process data to AVEVA Historian, a data historian designed to collect, store, and retrieve large volumes of industrial time-series data. This capability is useful if your SCADA project has many tags that need to be chronicled.

The AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector is required to integrate process data with AVEVA Historian. For more information see Welcome to AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector.

Additionally, the connector facilitates a pathway that supports delivery of Plant SCADA data to AVEVA Cloud-based services via the Historian Agent (see Plant SCADA and Historian Agent).

Before integrating variables with AVEVA Historian, you need to identify the variables you want to include in your Plant SCADA project (see Prepare Variables for Historian Integration).
