There are a number of optional configuration settings you can modify to change the behavior of the AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector. These settings are available in the AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector's configuration file.

To change optional configuration settings

  1. If the AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector service is running, stop the service.

  2. Go to directory where AVEVA Historian Plant SCADA Connector is installed (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\Citect SCADA Connector).

  3. Open the file SE.SCADA.Connector.exe.config.

  4. The settings you can customize are found in one of the following sections:

    • SchneiderElectric.HistorianConnector.Service.Properties.Settings

    • SchneiderElectric.HistorianConnector.Properties.Settings

    • SchneiderElectric.HistorianConnector.Citect.Properties.Settings

  5. Locate the setting you want to change in the configuration file, which appear similar to the following example:

    <setting name="SettingName" serializeAs="String">

    <value>1</value>

    </setting>

    where SettingName is the name of the setting. Update the Value as required.

  6. Save the configuration file, then restart the service to apply the changes.
