Adding a PLC_Test Hierarchy

You must add a PLC_Test hierarchy before creating device items.

Note: A PLC_Test hierarchy name cannot contain spaces.

To add a PLC_Test hierarchy

1. In the OI Server Manager, navigate to the Port Hierarchy node.

   1. Expand the OI Server Manager hierarchy, expand the node group, then expand Local or the remote computer name.

   2. Expand the OI Server, then expand Configuration.

2. Right click the channel node, then click Add PLC_Test Object on the shortcut menu.The console tree shows a new node with a default PLC_Test hierarchy name selected.

3. Type a name and press Enter.
