AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access Streamed Desktops

AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access facilitates on-premise hybrid working by enabling users to access AVEVA Unified Engineering directly through a web browser, eliminating the need for client-side applications or server installations.

• Delivered on AVEVA CONNECT: AVEVA Unified Engineering - Browser Access is securely accessible over the Internet via AVEVA CONNECT.

• Integrated AVEVA Unified Engineering virtual desktop: Integrates AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Administration, and Microsoft Office within a streamed virtual desktop environment, built and optimized for design and engineering authoring tasks.

• Tenant Platform Infrastructure Isolation: Each customer's environment is provisioned using cloud infrastructure that logically isolates their resources and data.

• Collaboration: Access to Spectrum Projects are either owned or invited through a Connect Community.

AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access streams virtual desktop sessions using Amazon Web Services Workspaces Applications (formerly Appstream 2.0) on-demand instances. These are fleets (or pools) of instances residing in a standby state ready to be launched on demand by users.

Workspaces Applications (formerly Appstream 2.0) instances are provisioned from a Golden Image representing a managed blueprint of the Operating System and applications included in AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access.
AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access aims to deliver the latest version of AVEVA™ Unified Engineering in a fully patched and secure form. To achieve this, the Golden Image is updated regularly in relation to Operating System, Virus Scan Database and Application updates as part of automated build and dynamic delivery pipelines.
