Customer CONNECT administrators grant user access permissions through a combination of CONNECT service roles. In the context of Unified Engineering, roles for one or more of the following services apply:

AVEVA Unified Engineering – Browser Access service roles
Grant access to streamed desktops and administration functions (Admin, Author and Admin File Transfer) -
AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum service roles
Grant access to Spectrum resources (Projects) -
AVEVA Unified Engineering - Roles service roles
Grant access to Unified Engineering Functional Authoring Applications (1D/2D and 1D/2D/3D) -
AVEVA Integration Service roles
Grant access to AIS resources (AIS Stores and Data Sources) -
AVEVA Name Allocation Manager service roles
Grant access to Tag Management (Users, Configs and Scopes)
As a minimum, to access an AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access streamed desktop, your administrator should have:

Added you as a user to a CONNECT account.
You will receive an email invitation to join CONNECT. -
Granted you the AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access Author CONNECT role (either directly or via CONNECT groups) in CONNECT User Management.
