Cloud File Transfer Service

Subject to you as an Administrator configuring one or more on-prem file transfer locations.
The Cloud file transfer service provides a secure method to transfer project-related data between AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access tenant environments and designated on-prem network location file servers.
AVEVA™ Unified Engineering – Browser Access Author and Admin users by default have write access to the folder T:\GeneralTransfers. Placing files in this folder will automatically sync them to the on-prem network locations (or in the opposite direction).

The General Transfer folder is primarily designed to facilitate the efficient transfer of files in and out of your environment. It is not intended as a permanent collaborative working area. For optimal organization and long-term storage, we recommend that after the synchronization process is complete, you promptly move these files to a Working Project Files folder under P:\ProjectFiles\ or into specific folders within the on-premises setup. This approach ensures better file management and accessibility for future reference and avoids files being accidentally overwritten.
