If you are creating a solution that will show more than one asset (such as multiple machines in an assembly line), the Sector node provides a way to show/hide one or more 3D Assets, which provides two primary benefits:

Performance is improved because Sectors that are not visible are not traversed by the render engine.

Visibility state of child MWX objects and nodes are preserved.
Sector names are added to the MWX node that represents each 3D Asset. If only one machine is included in the solution, then this does not need to be populated for a single 3D Asset.

Each machine MWX will have it’s own unique and arbitrary sector name.

Sectors are defined in the graphic context script file.
