Discover XML structure

The XML structure for Discover contains values that are hardcoded and expected by the underlying XR APM module. Struct name patterns such as group_0, group_1, entry_0 and entry_1 is expected. Changing this can cause the solution to not function properly. Other data structures in the Asset Datasheet follow the same naming convention.

In the Asset Datasheet file apm_data_sampleAsset.xml is where you will define the Discover menu. There is one configuration setting that needs to be defined for all the groups.

• numberOfGroups – Defines how many groups of mesh objects you can see in the Discover menu.

Set the number of groups you will be configuring for this machine.
