Import 3D model into XR Studio

To import 3D model into XR Studio

  1. In the XR Studio Project Explorer, double-click the graphic_context.xml file to open the graphic context.

  2. Click Import on the XR Studio toolbar.

    The Import from CAD dialog box opens.

  3. Under Import Type, select FBX to MWX Import.

  4. Under Files, specify machine_blender.fbx as the FBX 3D model file.

    Note If your FBX model contains embedded textures, you can set the mediapath import option to the full path of your project texture directory to automatically add the textures to the project textures folder. For example: C:\ XRProjects\ProjectName\GameData\Textures\user\Textures\.

  5. Click Import.

    Large FBX imports can take some time. Let the software finish. Output will display in the Log area.

  6. When the import process has finished, click Close.
