Calibrating

If the precision of the Marker placement on the physical machine and the 3D asset does not match 100%, the XR Connected Worker solution provides a way to calibrate the 3D markers with the physical markers on the asset. This calibration is performed once, saved locally, and will be applied when operating the application.

Calibrate Marker placement

1. On the Options dialog box, activate Admin mode.

   

2. Click in the password field to show the on-screen keyboard.

3. Enter the password.

4. Go to Discover.

5. Start AR Mode.

6. While using tablet pointed at machine, lock onto one of the markers.

7. Use the buttons to change Rotation and Position to improvement alignment of the transparent 3D model with respect to the physical machine and click Save.
