Step 6: Set up Procedure mapping for UI

In the Asset DataSheet, you will setup a datastructure to map between the dropdown values and the procedure datastructure.

• The values used for rule_0, rule_1, and so on must match up with the text in the drop downs.

• The values you will use for procedure_0, procedure_1, and so on will be driven by the names of the structures you set up.

Create the ball bearing procedure

1. Add this struct to your Asset Datasheet.

   

2. Configure to map every procedure to a single rule of dropdown value combinations.

If you have more than one procedure selection dropdown, the number of rules you set up increases to cover the combinations you want to support.
