Configuring the Connection Information for Data Sources

A system can have more than one data adapter service. Also, the computer on which the data adapter service runs must have additional connectivity software installed to communicate with the following types of data sources.

Oracle client connectivity software Client components of Oracle 11g and 12c on the node on which the Data Adapter Service is installed, if used as a data source. Note: ODAC is required and it has to match with the Oracle Database Server CPU architecture. |

Microsoft Office client connectivity software. (Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB component available from Microsoft downloads). For CSV files, following component need to be installed. Select the 64-bit version of the components. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255 |
