After installing and configuring the Intelligence Event Interface Service, a Windows group named "aaIntelligenceEventAPIUsers” is created. Only those users who are under the “aaIntelligenceEventAPIUsers” group are authorized to access the Event API methods. If users are unable to access the Event API methods after installing and configuring the Intelligence Event Interface Service, one can manually verify the creation of Windows group and see whether the Windows group is created.
To verify the “aaIntelligenceEventAPIUsers” Windows group:
-
Open Service Manager > Configuration > Local Users and Groups > Groups.
-
Click Groups. A list of group name and descriptions appears.
-
Verify whether the aaIntelligenceEventAPIUsers group is available in the list.
Note: If the Windows group "aaIntelligenceEventAPIUsers” is not available in the list, then you may need to reconfigure the Intelligence Event Interface Service.
