Renaming a Dimension Field

If you rename a dimension field, the configurations, mappings, and relationships of the dimension field are not modified.
To rename a dimension field

Open the BI Gateway Model Builder.

Under the Dimensions column, click the dimension to which you want to add a dimension field.

In the Dimension editor in the right pane, click the Fields (
) button. The Fields editor appears.

Under the Field name column, click the dimension field that you want to rename.

Type a new name for the dimension field and then press Enter.
