Deploying and undeploying a Dimension

You deploy the dimension to the BI Gateway Server.

To deploy a dimension

1. Open the BI Gateway Model Builder.

2. Under the Dimension column, click the dimension that you want to deploy. The Dimension editor appears in the right pane with the selected dimension details.

3. On the Action menu, click the Deploy () button. A confirmation message appears.

4. Click Yes. After the successful deployment the the deploy status next to the dimension name changes from yellow to green.

   NOTE: By default, when you deploy a dimension, it deploy the parent objects too if it is undeployed.

To undeploy a dimension

5. Open the BI Gateway Model Builder.

6. Under the Dimension column, click the dimension that you want to undeploy. The Dimension editor appears in the right pane with the selected dimension details.

7. On the Action menu, click the Undeploy () button. A confirmation message appears.

8. Click Yes. After the successful undeployment, the deploy status next to the dimension name changes from green to yellow.
