Deleting a Dimension Field

If you delete a dimension field, then the configurations, mappings, relationships, and data of the dimension field are deleted.

To delete a dimension field

1. Open the BI Gateway Model Builder.

2. Under the Dimensions column, click the dimension to which you want to add a dimension field.

3. In the Dimension editor in the right pane, click the Fields () button. The Fields editor appears.

4. Select the dimension field row that you want to delete, and then click Delete (). A confirmation message appears.

5. Click Yes and then click Save.

   Important: If deployed the indicator will show as dirty (black) and that changes may trigger measures to be updated too.
