Deleting a Dimension

You can delete a dimension that is not deployed or is not referenced by a dependent measure.

To delete a dimension

1. Open the BI Gateway Model Builder.

2. Under the Dimension column, click the dimension that you want to delete.

3. On the Action menu, click the Delete () button. A confirmation message appears.

   NOTE: The Delete button in the Dimension editor is available only when the selected dimension is undeployed.

4. Click Delete.

   NOTE: The model integrity validation will first check for dependency relationship and block the deletion if the dimension is referenced in other objects.
