Web Administration of Data Source - Web Admin

AVEVA™ Integration Service Web Administration tool having similar capability as current AVEVA Integration Service Settings Editor help user to view, add, delete and modify data sources using your favorite browser from remote workstation.

Getting Started

To open a AVEVA Integration Service web administrator application, you typically need a web browser and the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the web administrator. For example, <https://<integration> service server host name>/.

  • Launch a web browser on your computer. Common web browsers include Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge.

  • Ensure that your device is connected to the company intranet.

  • In the web browser's address bar, type or paste the URL (<https://<integration> service server host name>/)

  • After entering the URL, press the "Enter" key on your keyboard or tap the "Go" or "Search" button in the browser. This will initiate a request to the web server hosting the application.

  • The web application's page will load, and you will see its user interface in your web browser.

  • Once the web application is loaded, you can interact with it using your mouse, keyboard, or touchscreen.

Authentication

AVEVA™ Integration Service Data source Web administrator uses windows NTLM authentication.

Navigation

AVEVA™ Integration Service Web Administration Navigation bar is available with the below options.

  • Home

  • DataSources

  • Service Status

  • Logs

Data Sources

Data Sources is to view the list of Data sources created by user in the Integration Server. User can create new Data source, modify or delete the Data sources created.

Add

One Button named Add Data Source available, on Clicking, Open the Add Configuration Card. User can enter and select the value from the drop down.

Test Selected Data source: This validates the details entered by user before saving the Data source.

Save Data Source: After Test Selected Data source is successful user can click on Save button to save the data source in Configuration Data base.

View

Data Sources is to view the list of Data sources created by user in the Integration Server.

Edit

On Selecting the Data row, Edit, Delete option should be visible on top of the UI page. User can click the Edit button to edit the data source.

on checking on Row Options for (Delete, Edit ) option should be visible on top of the UI page placed before the Add Data Source Button

Only at a time we are supporting for one selection only, Multiple row selection was not supported.

User can only edit few authentications, server details, port.

Name is not allowed to modify. To do that user can delete the data source and create new one.

Delete

On Selecting the Data row, Edit, Delete option should be visible on top of the UI page. User can click delete button to delete the data source.

Filter

One Button named Filter is available, on Clicking filter options will be visible in the UI screen for users to Choose/Apply filter.

Once click on the filter option, filtering options should be visible on top of the data grid.

Filtering options should be a drop downs and text boxes varied with the data grid rows.

No filtering options for Project Units

Service Status

Service Status is to view the health/running status of AVEVA Integration service Configuration API, AVEVA Integration service Data API, AVEVA Integration service REST API.

When services running OK, It will display OK(Green Color). If any of the services not running contact your AVEVA Integration service Server administrator.

Logs

Logs is to view REST API / WCF API logs available in AVEVA Integration service Server.

Date Filter in Log

Logs are available date wise; user can choose a date to view log of specific date. User can also filter the Log based on Log type.

Information - Information logs.

Error - Error logs.

Reset

Reset will Clear the Filter.
