AVEVA P&ID

To add Data Source for AVEVA™ P&ID:

1. Launch AVEVA Integration Service web administrator. For example, <https://integration service server host name>/.

2. Click Add Data Source.

   

3. In the Name text box, specify the name for the data source.

   Note: The data source name must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), - (hyphen), and space.

4. From the Product drop-down list, select AVEVA P&ID.

5. Select HTTP or HTTPS from the drop-down.

   

6. Provide the P&ID Report Service Name.

   Note: After installation of AVEVA™ P&ID, P&ID Data Service Editor is available on the Start menu under AVEVA > Engineer > Manage > P&ID Data Service Editor. You can install this service locally on the Server computer or on any network computer.

7. Select required MDB/Database from the drop-down.

   

8. Click Test Datasource.

   If all inputs provided are valid, a success message is displayed.

9. Click OK.

10. Click Save.

    The data source is saved, and a success message is displayed.
