Install AVEVA Integration Service

Before beginning the installation of AVEVA™ Integration Service (Service), ensure that the System Requirements have been fulfilled.

To install AVEVA™ Integration Service

1. Double-click the AVEVA Integration Service 3.2 Setup.exe file available AVEVA Integration Service 3.2 folder.

2. On license agreement page, select I accept the License Agreement.

   

3. Click Next.

   The Product Selection page appears:

   

4. Click Next.

5. On Select the option(s) you would like to install. page, select one or more of the following types:

   AVEVA Integration Service Standalone Installation Server only: Installs all components locally, including AIS Windows Service, AIS Notification Windows Service, AIS Config API, AIS Data API, AIS REST API, AIS Web Admin, and more. This setup operates independently without external dependencies.

   Hybrid Installation (Local + CONNECT Service) Server only: Installs key components locally, including AIS Windows Service, AIS Notification Windows Service, AIS REST API, and AIS Web Admin. This setup relies on AIS Config API and AIS Data API hosted on AVEVA CONNECT Service for integration.

   Client Only: Installs only the client components Integration Client and Notification Client without a server.

   Custom: Manually select the product that must be installed on the system.

   

6. Click Next.

7. On select / review the feature page, verify the required products and/or components to be installed.

8. Select Customize Installation to change selection and/or installation.

9. Click Browse to navigate to the Destination Folder.

   

10. Click Next.

    In the following page, information about the features that failed to install on your system due to a lack of requirements, is specified.

    

11. Double-click on the specific item with the Failed status to view the required prerequisites.

12. Click Install Prerequisites if any components are not installed in the system.

13. Click Next.

14. In the following page create the local user group AISAdministrators on the server and add the necessary members.

    Note: Ensure that the service account and the user installing the software are included in this group.

    1. Specify AISAdministartors in the Group Name field

    2. Add the description in the Description field.

       

15. Click Add to add user.

    

16. Select the Location.

    

17. Type username you want to add and click Check Names.

    

18. Select the Name

    

19. Click OK.

20. Select a Member and click Remove button to remove the member already added.

    

21. Click Next.

22. In the Ready to install the Application page, verify the details.

    

23. Click Install.

    Installer will update your system, wait for the installation to complete.

    

24. For the Initial Configuration, browse a folder path to for AVEVA Integration Service software to save configuration file.

    

25. Click Proceed.
