AVEVA™ Integration Service

AVEVA Unified Engineering

To add a data source for AVEVA™ Unified Engineering:

  1. Launch AVEVA Integration Service web administrator. For example, <https://integration service server host name>/.

  2. Click Add Data Source.

  3. In the Name text box, specify the name for the data source.

    Note: The data source name must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), - (hyphen), and space.

  4. From the Product drop-down list, select the product AVEVA Unified Engineering.

  5. Select the module from Module drop-down list

    Note: You can add AVEVA Catalogue, AVEVA Design, AVEVA Draw, AVEVA Engineering modules.

  6. Select the authentication type from Authentication drop-down list

    1. If you want to connect using a project user, select AVEVA Project User.

    2. If you want NO AUTHENTICATION, select NTLM.

  7. Select the required project from Projects drop down list

    Note: A token must be generated using credential manager to view the list of projects. Refer Generate a token using Credential Manager.

  8. Select required MDB/Database.

  9. Specify the User Name and Password.

  10. Select the Keep Connection Alive value from the drop-down

    Note: You can improve the performance of the service by keeping the connection alive. Refer to Retain Connection Alive for Dabacon Data Sources.

  11. Click Test Datasource.

    If all inputs provided are valid, a success message is displayed.

  12. Click OK.

  13. Click Save.

    The data source is saved, and a success message is displayed.

  14. Click OK.
