AVEVA E3D Design

To add Data Source for AVEVA™ E3D Design:

1. Launch AVEVA Integration Service web administrator. For example, <https://integration service server host name>/.

2. Click Add Data Source.

   

3. In the Name text box, specify the name for the data source.

   Note: The data source name must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), - (hyphen), and space.

4. From the Product drop-down list, select the product AVEVA Unified Engineering.

5. Select the module from Module drop down list

   Note: You can also add AVEVA Design, AVEVA Catalogue, AVEVA Draw module.

   

6. Select the authentication type from Authentication drop-down list

   1. If you want to connect using a project user, select AVEVA Project User.

   2. If you want NO AUTHENTICATION, select NTLM.

      

7. Select the required project from Projects drop-down list

8. Select required MDB/Database.

9. Provide User Name and Password.

   

10. Select the Keep Connection Alive value from the drop down

    

    Note: You can improve the performance of the service by keeping the connection alive. Refer to Retain Connection Alive for Dabacon Data Sources.

11. Click Test Datasource.

    

    If all inputs provided are valid, a success message is displayed.

12. Click OK.

    

13. Click Save. The data source is saved, and a success message is displayed.
