Oracle

To add Data Source for Oracle:

1. Launch AVEVA Integration Service web administrator. For example, <https://integration service server host name>/.

2. Click Add Data Source.

   

3. In the Name text box, specify the name for the data source.

   Note: The data source name must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), - (hyphen), and space.

4. From the Product drop-down list, select Oracle.

   

5. Select the Connection Type from the drop-down:

6. Select Basic and provide the Host, port, service name and user details to use on-prem instance of oracle.

   

7. Select Custom and provide the connection string and user details to use cloud instance of oracle.

   

8. Click Test Datasource.

   If all inputs provided are valid, a success message will be displayed.

   

9. Click OK.

10. Click Save.

    The data source is saved, and a success message is displayed.
