AVEVA Plate & Bar Nesting

To add Data Source for AVEVA™ Plate & Bar Nesting:

1. Launch AVEVA Integration Service web administrator. For example, <https://integration service server host name>/.

2. Click Add Data Source.

   

3. In the Name text box, specify the name for the data source.

   Note: The data source name must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), - (hyphen), and space.

4. From the Product drop down list, select the product AVEVA Plate & Bar Nesting.

5. Select AVEVA Plate & Bar Nesting from the Module drop-down list

   

6. Select the authentication type from Authentication drop down list

   1. If you want to connect using a project user, select AVEVA Project User.

   2. If you want NO AUTHENTICATION, select NTLM.

      

7. Select the required project from Projects drop-down list

8. Select required MDB/Database.

9. Provide User Name and Password.

   

10. Select the Keep Connection Alive value from the drop-down.

    

    Note: You can improve the performance of the service by keeping the connection alive. Refer to Retain Connection Alive for Dabacon Data Sources.

11. Click Test Datasource.

    

    If all inputs provided are valid, a success message will be displayed.

12. Click OK.

13. Click Save.

    The data source is saved, and a success message is displayed.
