Enabling Physical Files Deletion

Use the PhysicalFilesDeletionEnabled value to enable/disable the physical file deletion of Working Sets for AVEVA Change Manager. This parameter is available in OwnerDomain\TIM.ApplicationFactory.xml.
Note: This configuration setting is only applicable for AVEVA Change Manager.

The delete feature is enabled for Working Sets on the Working Set Manage Document Details Files page. The State column is available on the page, which shows the following statuses of each attachment for documents within the Working Set: For the non-existing or reserved documents, or for a newly-added physical file: The value in the State column is set to New. The physical file record is completely removed from the database after pressing Delete. For the existing or checked-out documents: The value in the State column for all the physical files of the checked-out documents is Unmodified. When the same document is uploaded, the value is changed to Modified. The value in the State column when an existing file is deleted is Deleted. If the same file is uploaded the value in the State column is Modified. The value in the State column when a file is added is New. If the same file is deleted, its corresponding record is completely removed from the database. |
