You have to use the graphical user interface (GUI) provided by the AVEVA Application deployment tool to deploy AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager.

The purpose of the AVEVA Application deployment tool is to:

  • Copy the base application files to their deployment location.

  • Rename directories to match where AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager is being installed.

  • Add the application to the IIS - application pool and web application.

  • Modify the XML configuration files in the application so it can start up.
