If the value set as true, the Release option will be available in the Partial Check In page. It enables you to choose to Release in addition to Check In the Tags/Documents:

• If you select the Release check box, the Check In check box is also selected automatically.

• You can lock the Release check box, if you have released Tags/Documents by mistake.

  Important: Tags/Documents with errors cannot be checked in and therefore released, until the errors are fixed.

• Once the Tags/Documents are checked in, the Check In option will be disabled. You cannot revert a Check In action.

If this configuration is disabled, as soon as the Tag or Document is checked in, it gets released and is available for modification.
