Shut Down WDA Applications Using the Component Services

To open Component Services:

• On the Start menu, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Component Services.

To shut down WDA applications using the Component Services:

1. Open Component Services.

2. In the console tree, double-click Computers, and then double-click My Computer.

3. Double-click the COM+ Applications folder for the specified computer to display all the applications.

4. Right-click a WDA application, and then click Shut Down.

   Note: These may have files locked if they were recently running. If not stopped, then the uninstall process will need a reboot.
