To install the new version you should follow the procedure described in the Installation Procedure section.

Important:

  • Before installing either AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager, upgrade the operational SQL Server database structure. See Upgrade the Database Structure.

  • Before upgrading an existing Class Library, see Upgrading an Existing Class Library.

  • Skip the Create a SQL Server Database and Login step, as you are not creating an empty SQL Server Database as part of the installation process.

  • At the Run Deployment step, in the AVEVA Application deployment tool, clear DeployDatabase, as you do not need to installing a new SQL Server database.
