Send data back to machines

Sometimes result needs to be sent back to the machines, either from northbound systems or for closed, loop use cases. An example of sending data from a northbound system might be ordering data from an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is used to print labels on the delivery packaging. An example of the closed, loop use case is where machine data is collected and sent through a machine learning (ML) model that generates optimized settings that are then sent back to the machine, all in a single flow.
Writer modules
There are corresponding Writer modules for all the common machine interfaces you can use to write values back to the machines. These modules are found in Flow Studio's Module Library under the Destinations/Industrial category.
