You can create a registration key that serves as a global key for multiple flow runtimes. On first connect, every flow runtime negotiates individual credentials with Flow manager.

  1. On the Flow runtimes page, select the Settings icon.

The Flow runtime artifacts dialog opens.

  2. Select the Key and Name Pattern tab.

  3. (Optional) Select a Valid To date and a Valid From date for the registration key.

  4. Select the Type down arrow, then select the flow runtime type (Production or Dev and Test).

  5. Select Generate key.

A message box opens, confirming that the global key is created. The new key appears masked in box below the Generate key button.

  6. Select the Copy icon to copy the contents of the masked key. Paste a copy of the global key in a document or text files for your records.

  7. (Optional) On the Key and Name Pattern tab, scroll down to the Flow runtime naming pattern section.

  8. (Optional) In the Flow runtime naming pattern text box, enter an increasing index name and/or value for your flow runtime names.

  9. (Optional) Select Update.

When the registration key is first used, the flow runtime name is based on the naming pattern.
